Membership in the Bakersfield Museum of Art means you have the opportunity to enjoy a host of exciting and interesting activities. Members receive special discounts on events and merchandise, special invitations to exciting events and premiers and discounts on classes and workshops. Additionally, our membership base helps support the museum’s goal of providing high quality art and art education programs for the entire community. The Bakersfield Museum of Art is now a member of the North American Reciprocal Museum program (NARM).
NARM benefits start at the $100 Supporter Membership level and grant members free admission to over 560 participating museums located in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Members who present a current museum I.D. card validated with a gold NARM sticker at participating museums are entitled to:
- Free admission during regular museum hours
- Member discounts at museum shops
- Discounts on associated concert or lecture tickets
