The Bakersfield Museum of Art is located adjacent to Central Park, at the intersection of 21st and R Streets. Convenient parking is located directly in front of the Musuem in our parking lot, with adequate parking for our handicapped visitors. Additional street parking is also available. The facility's proximity to downtown Bakersfield makes it accessible to the population it serves. Public bus services directly to the facility are available and the area has convenient freeway access. The facility is compliant with the "Standards for Accessible Design" specified by the Americans With Disabilities Act.
